Join us for the MOvember WOD on November 26

Mustaches. They're a symbol of male virility. Masculinity. And, dare we say -- sexiness? Whatever your thoughts are of the latest craze to sweep CFLB, the men you've seen sporting the upper-lip accessory have teamed up with XFit Social to promote MOvember (www.movember.com). The mustaches are a reminder to men everywhere to educate themselves about prostate cancer and bring awareness to other cancers that ail men.  

All November long is MOvember month. Men are asked to grow out their mustaches, register atmovember.com, join XFit Social, So.Cal's MOvember team, and raise $25. Women are encouraged to raise $25 as well. Money goes to Prostate Cancer Foundation, Livestrong and The Movember Foundation.

The Details:

• First, sign up at MOvember.com and start raising money.
• On Saturday November 26th, CFLB will host a MO-WOD, at 10am. Come join the fun!
• The WOD: Randy -- 75 power snatches for time. All competitors will choose their own weight. (Donations not required to do the WOD.)
• Prizes: XFit Social will be awarding the man with the best mustache with a free haircut and straight razor shave at A-Barbershop.

XFit Social also will be hosting a MO Party on Sunday, December 4th at The StacheBar in Long Beach (941 e 4th St. Long Beach, CA 90802) in celebration of their month-long 'stache-wearing crusade and all are invited. Be sure to join the XFit Social Facebook page to keep up with MOvember and to RSVP to the event. Voting for the best mustache will occur on the Facebook page as well; once the contestants have uploaded their final MO photo, the photo with the most "LIKES" wins the competition.
