"Fran vs Leukemia" fundraiser on March 5

On March 5, Crossfit Orange County, will be hosting "Fran vs Leukemia" fundraiser for the daughter of a recently retired OCFA Fire Captain and good friend of the owner of CFOC.
About Lyndsey
Lyndsey is 23 and has been diagnosed with AML Leukemia, an acute Blood and Bone Marrow disease that with proper treatment has a good prognosis. As if that was not enough, she also endured a collapsed lung, pneumonia & a pleural effusion and was recently diagnosed with leukemia cutis (skin). She has received her first round of chemotherapy but it still fighting to recover from the pneumonia and fungal infection that followed chemo. Lyndsey only has a few months before she will no longer be covered by her parents medical insurance. We need to help raise some money so she can continue to receive good medical treatment!

We have t-shirts for the event $30 but if you register for the event it is $35 and includes a t-shirt.
CrossFit Marina in Huntington Beach will also be holding a "Satellite" Fran WOD at their affiliate in support of this fundraiser.
