Sign Up! Fight Gone Bad Fundraiser/Workout on September 26, 2009

Each year, the entire CrossFit community does the Fight Gone Bad workout as a fundraiser for two important organizations: Athletes For A Cure, for prostate cancer, and the Wounded Warrior Project.  And, CrossFit Long Beach is one of the few CrossFit gyms that have participated all four years and we're proud of that fact.

When: Saturday, September 26th
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Where: CrossFit Long Beach

All you need to do is register at the Fight Gone Bad IV website and then give your family and friends an opportunity to support these organizations through you!

Participants who raise $150 or more will receive a limited edition FGB IV t-shirt.

Not sure what the FGB workout entails?
In this workout, you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The event is in the 3 round format. The stations are:

  • Wall-ball: 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps)
  • Sumo deadlift high-pull: 75 pounds (Reps)
  • Box Jump: 20″ box (Reps)
  • Push-press: 75 pounds (Reps)
  • Row: calories (Calories)

The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.
